Well as of this point we're not much further on deciding what type of character to do, although I have been jotting down ideas in my sketch pad on certain characters I could use, I have been thinking ofPIXAR and Dreamworks films and trying to come up with a new concept, they have used toys, animals even lifeless items that should bear no relevance to being able to move they have managed to bring to life So I really need to try and come up with a new kind of concept or at least something a bit different.
The emotion I am looking at using is Anger, I have been researching videos from online to do with anger and have found a couple of interesting ones, here are 2 examples I think that portray anger quite well.
I've noticed through these videos that pointing seems to be a used motion when someone is angry and directing comments at another person, I think I may use this in my character, also the different facial expression, how the lips curl downwards and the eybrows frown, shoulders hunch up and muscles tense. These videos seem to give me a good clue as to how to represent anger.
I've come to the conclusion that making a Lego man might be a nice change, shouldn't be too bad to make it look realistic and bring him to life.
Creation of the lego man, creating an object thats well know means the sizes and dimensions will have to be exact. This means sorucing reference photos or taking my own, but since I do not own any lego men, google images it is.
So we will have an angry lego man but what will he look like? Well I envision him to have big muscles to be a kind of angry, intimidating person. To be quite tall, taller than most of his friends and to have a short temper.
